NN & CO. staff has a combined average of 100 years experience
in the estate liquidation field. Since the early 1980's,
Ann Marszalek has been instrumental in liquidating and/or
appraising estates for some of the most prominent local
families as well as estate departments in banks and lawfirms.
Ann's prior 14-year background in the legal profession,
coupled with her extensive experience in the communications
and public relations field, which included hosting radio
and television programs, organizing festivals, major fund-raisers
and benefit sales, make her a natural when it comes to
the auction profession!
In today's competitive customer-service
driven business world, auctions require listening to
the needs of the client, the knowledge to perform the
assignment from beginning to end on budget and on time,
organization, people, sales, accounting and marketing
skills, and finally, delivering the best results according
to the needs of the client. Product knowledge is, of
course, imperative. Most of the staff and management
of ANN & CO. have been involved with antiques for over
25 years.
After completing a 100 hour course
of study to earn the coveted "ISA" designation, Ann
Marszalek is one of only three Accredited Appraisers
for the International Society of Appraisers in the Rochester,
New York area. The ISA demands constant study, seminar
attendance and periodic re-qualification exams to permit
the use of the ISA initials after the name. All ANN
& Co. appraisals adhere to IRS and USPAP Standards.

Licensed and bonded in the City of
Rochester, a member of the National Auctioneer's Association,
as well as the New York State Auctioneer's Association,
Ann Marszalek is bound by the ethics demanded by these
professional organizations, and is answerable to someone.
Her own OLD-WORLD WORK ETHIC motivates those around
her.
